Second Sunday Poetry at The Depot welcomes Dorothy Alexander to read selections from her poetry. Light refreshments are served at this free event. All are welcome.
Dorothy Alexander, a self-taught poet, writer and storyteller, is the author of several poetry and story collections and editor of four anthologies. Dorothy’s work is inspired by the agrarian literary tradition and the populist political movements in the rural United States. She embraces primarily the narrative form. The Oklahoma Center for the Book selected Dorothy as recipient of the Carlile Distinguished Service Award for her services to the Oklahoma literary community in 2013.
