For Whom: Employees and Managers of any business in the downtown and campus corner area
When: Thursday, October 25 or Friday, Oct. 26 (same class both days)
Time: 9-10:30 a.m. (please arrive by 8:45 so that we can begin promptly)
Where: Coach’s Brewhouse, 110 W Main St, Norman 73069
Scope of Class: Good Life Dining has asked the Women’s Resource Center to provide contemporary training for Sexual Assault awareness, Definitions of Consent, and Tactical Training for Protecting Ourselves and Each Other. Many have employees of a particularly vulnerable age; young and prone to partying. Obviously anyone can be the victim of sexual assault, but this demographic seems to be at an acute risk, especially in a college town.
The Good Life Hospitality Group is making this training mandatory for all of its employees, and would be delighted for any of your staff to be present as well. Call (405-360-4258), text (405-517-0543), or email John Howell (email@example.com) with an anticipated head count for whichever day or days your people would be coming, at the request of the Women’s Resource Center. Additionally, this class is going to be a slightly skinny’d down version of what the Women’s Resource Center usually offers. It may be scheduled again, at its full length, in the summer. An hour and a half in the morning was the best we believed we could reasonably expect of our student-staffers during the semester, on a week day.
